Luxury apartment featured in Kansas City Homes & Gardens.

by Clockwork

Clockwork designed the loft space around 2 basic principles: abundant daylight and a rockin’ kitchen.  The all white painted cabinets blend seamlessly with the white glass appliances.  The exposed concrete ceilings are warmed up by the carefully placed walnut floor.  The sense of luxury extends to the bathrooms with large wood vanities and a generous outdoor terrace.  Photo courtesy of Alistair Tuttonclockwork residential

The New Urbanity, re-inventing multi-family residential

by Clockwork

Clockwork’s multi-family expertise continues to expand with work at Seminary Heights. The development team selected clockwork due to their creative ability to deliver exceptional design that costs less to construct. The 12 acre mixed-use eco-friendly project will include office, retail and is anchored by residential townhomes. The site plan was developed by locating building footprints organically around existing old growseminary heights site planth trees.

The Next American Dream

next american dream

American Downtowns. Once we loved them. Then we left them. Now we’re returning to them in increasing numbers as the urban core of cities all across the country are coming back to life. What has caused this change in the American lifestyle? Why did we abandon downtowns to begin with?  www.nextamericandream.com

We’re excited and proud of the many involved in this production, especially client and friend Teri Rogers, Executive Producer.

We’re also excited about the many Clockwork design projects featured in The Next American Dream, including the Power and Light District, Barkley’s Headquarters and our office at 5th and Delaware!

exclusiveMD in Leawood

by Clockwork

exclusiveMD is a new concierge based medical practice now open at Mission Farms in Leawood.  Clockwork worked closely with Dr. Mike to create a design that matched his innovative vision.  The result is a sustainable spa-like space with a convenient business center, flat panel screens in the waiting and exam rooms, with dynamic architectural features and lighting.

Visit Dr. Mike’s website for additional information, hours, and medical practice philosophy.

“As a new business owner, it is comforting to know there are still honest people out there who are looking out for my best interests.  Everyone at Clockwork has been spectacular to work with. They know that getting things done quickly is a priority and always answered all of my questions without hesitation or delay. They have truly taken the dream concept of my medical office and transformed it into reality.”    Dr. Michael Catausan, exclusiveMD

Tuohy’s new Kaesi Collection, designed by Clockwork, includes lounge seating, side tables, a series of low tables with storage, end tables, and credenzas. The lounge chair is intended to be used in both hospitality and corporate settings, for both waiting rooms, and increasingly, in private offices to replace more formal pull-up seating configurations.

Herman Residence in KC Home Design

by Clockwork

below in an excerpt from the article…
personal touch
There certainly wasn’t a detail overlooked in the Herman household.  From the entryway to the butler’s pantry, each space requires a look around, up and down to absorb every embellishment.  But the goal wasn’t to show off details, it was to create flow.  The cohesion started with the homeowners and architects’ mutual admiration.  ”I can’t think of a time that they, my wife and me weren’t all on the same page.”  Jeff Herman says of the team at Clockwork Architecture + Design.
