Clockwork Home

Our goal of changing the way affordable housing is built is perfectly exemplified in the Clockwork Home, a modular prototype designed by Clockwork in conjunction with NeighborWorks America, Community Housing of Wyandotte County, Complete Property Solutions, and Development Initiatives. Compact and efficient at 1,100 square feet, the home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a single-car attached garage, and approximately 300 square feet of future build-out space in the attic. The open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and sealed concrete floors evoke a loft-like feeling, while the expansive kitchen, butcher-block island, and built-in storage add a sense of refinement. With the Clockwork Home and its unique design, focus on quality, and integration of highly efficient features, we’re doing our part to reverse the perception that “affordable housing” has to be associated with cheap materials, dim lighting, crime-ridden neighborhoods, and few amenities.

"Through thoughtful design consideration, construction and technology advancements, Clockwork has delivered on its promise of delivering well-designed affordable housing."
