Clockwork’s precision timing drives permit process.

General Electric Company thanks Clockwork architecture + design for their extraordinary high performance business practices.

From Boston to Texas, Pennsylvania to Kansas City, firms from across the US were on hold until Clockwork of Kansas City’s stop watch started ticking. Hundreds of design documents, hours of concentration and determination lead to permitting and a Kansas City based project that brings General Electric once more to our City.

The facility will be used to house a locomotive truck rebuild facility.

Clockwork received 8 Design Excellence Awards at the ceremony hosted by Home Design, KCB Magazine, KC Magazine and Commercial Journal. The following projects were recognized.

We would like to extend a warm thank you for recognizing our work with the top award in the IIDA Mid-America Design Awards. Amidst fierce competition from all the leading firms, Clockwork takes the gold award in the residential category. The Rogers residence was selected for it’s “spa-like atmosphere” according to judges. The design was a wonderful collaboration with the homeowners resulting in unparalleled success. The project is featured in the KC Star as well as an upcoming issue of KCH&G.

Blacktop Creative has selected Clockwork to create a brand rich environment for their new workplace. Blacktop Creative is a leading agency with a client base around the country. The new space is in the lower level space of a historic structure in the rivermarket and will showcase the agency’s work process in an open dynamic environment.

Structura and Clockwork have teamed to create a line of urban architectural products, initially focusing on outdoor lighting poles. The products provide a fresh alternative to the historic poles and outdoor furnishings currently scattered across US cities. Stuctura products compliment urban redevelopment as well as suburban new construction. Clockwork’s palette of sustainable products, lighting design experience, and machine shop prototyping capabilities are combined with Structura’s manufacturing, engineering, and marketing talents to create an endless supply of upcoming modern products.
